Meet our April Volunteer of the Month, Kurt Summers! Kurt is a volunteer for the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada. He was inspired to become an American Red Cross volunteer when he saw the Red Cross volunteers first-hand offering comfort to families impacted by crises or emergency situations in the Las Vegas community.

Meet our Manager of Corporate Partnerships, Scott Wood! He helps to facilitate, identify, and build sustaining relationships that lead to the cultivation of individual donors, volunteers, and corporate campaigns.
We would like to introduce our Community Impact Program Manager, Tameika Ortiz, to our UWSN community! In her role, she manages federal and local program funds enabling United Way of Southern Nevada to work with partner agencies and crisis clients to address emergency situations.
Veronica’s journey with UWSN began when she was a member of our partner program Leaders in Training and she has supported the United Way team both as an Operations Coordinator and now as a Community Impact Specialist!
