With great pleasure, we announce the addition of Henry Rosas to Team UWSN. As the team’s External Affairs Manager, he focuses on connecting and convening the community – whether elected officials, fellow nonprofit partners, or the public. In his role, he supports the development of policy priorities and shared-mission coalitions to empower the communities we serve.
“As an organizer by trade, I know how powerful a collective force can be. United Way is a leader in building cohesiveness within the nonprofit sector to foster new innovations or perspectives to the policy challenges our Southern Nevada community faces.”
Henry shared what inspired him to join the team. “I am so excited to join a team unapologetically bold and forward-thinking in ensuring every Nevadan is empowered with opportunities and pathways to thrive!”
When asked what everyone should do when they come to Las Vegas, he says, “Everyone MUST go downtown to visit all of the coffee shops and amazing small businesses Las Vegas has to offer!” He also says his favorite memory of Las Vegas history is the Red Rock Canyon National Park becoming the state’s first conservation area (and the best place for a hike).
