Nonprofit Community Needs Support

Are you an area nonprofit looking for distribution items? Are you an area Corporate Partner looking to donate items and kits to nonprofits?

United Way of Southern Nevada needs your feedback in identifying the needs of the children, individuals, families your organization supports to better serve you. UWSN is collecting these responses to grow our capacity to connect generous volunteers, corporate partners, and supporters with the needs in our community.

Volunteer Support

Volunteer Connect is United Way of Southern Nevada’s volunteer management platform available to the community as a free resource.  Volunteer Connect unites volunteers and nonprofits to create a positive impact in Southern Nevada!

Community Impact Grant Program Reports

For Community Impact Grants, a program report must be submitted every quarter services are provided using grant funding from UWSN.

  • Future grant disbursements are conditional on the submission of quarterly reports. These reports include information on program status, program staffing, program outputs, program outcomes, client stories and photos, volunteer opportunities, media recognition, implementation challenges, and lessons learned from implementation.
  • Please complete your reports in our Survey Monkey Apply platform via the appropriate grant application (EFSP, SBHC, UWSN CI Grant, etc.)

In 2023-2024, quarterly reports are due on:

  • October 11, 2023
  • January 11, 2024
  • April 11, 2024
  • July 11, 2024

UWSN may also request your participation in bi-annual client-level impact, feedback, and outcome surveys.

When possible, please provide stories in your quarterly reports that include client photos and testimonials of how your support transformed lives, what kind of support was provided, and the success that clients are experiencing.

Required Finance Documents

All organizations receiving funds through, via, or from United Way of Southern Nevada must have an up-to-date W-9 form on file.

UWSN encourages the use of direct deposit (ACH) for grant payments.
