Meet our Manager of Corporate Partnerships, Scott Wood! He helps to facilitate, identify, and build sustaining relationships that lead to the cultivation of individual donors, volunteers, and corporate campaigns.
We would like to introduce our Community Impact Program Manager, Tameika Ortiz, to our UWSN community! In her role, she manages federal and local program funds enabling United Way of Southern Nevada to work with partner agencies and crisis clients to address emergency situations.
Veronica’s journey with UWSN began when she was a member of our partner program Leaders in Training and she has supported the United Way team both as an Operations Coordinator and now as a Community Impact Specialist!
We would like to introduce our new Grant and Proposal Writer, Susan Beaver Thompson, to our UWSN community! In her role, she puts her years of experience in business development, writing, and editing to help secure grants for UWSN’s programs that support children, families, and individuals in Southern Nevada.
In her role, Jenna facilitates and maintains relationships with local corporations and organizations that are critical to the impact United Way of Southern Nevada has within our community by developing relationships, implementing impactful employee engagement, and fundraising solutions.
We are proud to welcome our new External Affairs Intern, Manuel Romero, from Cristo Rey St. Viator! Through the Cristo Rey St. Viator Internship program, local high school students learn about workplace culture and explore potential career paths
Mandisa Alston is a CIS Training Analyst at our partner NV Energy, and she shared with us what inspires her to give back to the Southern Nevada community!
