LAS VEGAS (April 30, 2024) –Yesterday, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) commemorated its 65th anniversary with the Legends & Lions Ball, held at Myron’s at The Smith Center. The special event paid tribute to esteemed Las Vegas community legends such as Bill Boyd, Chairman Emeritus and Co-founder of Boyd Gaming Corporation; Sandra Douglass Morgan, President of the Las Vegas Raiders; and Garth Winckler, former CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada, who have left an unforgettable mark on the city.
During the inaugural Legends & Lions Ball, the evening featured a captivating performance by the iconic Las Vegas entertainer, Clint Holmes. Attendees had the opportunity to mingle and honor the remarkable contributions of those who have played pivotal roles in shaping philanthropy in the valley over the past six and a half decades.
