As an integral part of United Way of Southern Nevada, Women United works to improve the lives of women and girls in our community. We are a diverse, vibrant group of women, bound together by a powerful sense of belonging – to each other, to the organization’s mission and to the community that we call home. Our global network of women leaders, over 55,000 strong, unite across more than 165 communities in six countries. The Women United network has been active in Southern Nevada for over 17 years. Providing meaningful opportunities for volunteering, professional development, and networking, Southern Nevada’s most inspiring women unite to focus on issues of shared concern.
By igniting the power of women – who bring the passion, expertise, and resources needed to accomplish goals and grow exponentially – we find new solutions to old problems. We don’t stand by; we lead the charge and inspire change in Southern Nevada. Since our creation, we’ve raised nearly $3.5M and committed over 8,200 volunteer hours.
Together, we’re raising our voices, rolling up our sleeves, and creating a legacy of change that benefits everyone. Women United is a network like no other: doing more, raising more, and going deeper and broader to make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
