United Way of Southern Nevada adheres to strict brand guidelines in accordance with United Way Worldwide.

Please review the guidelines below before using the logo. United Way of Southern Nevada reserves the right to request revisions in printed and online materials when branding guidelines are not followed.

Please submit all materials with the United Way of Southern Nevada logo to our Marketing Department for approval prior to posting.

Organization Name

Our preferred name in print is United Way of Southern Nevada. In all written documents, always use the name in its entirety when referring to the organization the first time. After that, all subsequent references in the same document can be just UWSN.

Logo Usage

Primary Logo

Full color primary logo

Use the full-color United Way of Southern Nevada logo whenever possible.
Clear space, determined by 1/2 the height of the symbol square, frames the logo and separates it from other elements including text and the edge of printed materials.
Do not use the logo below the approved minimum size for print or digital applications. The minimum size for printed materials is .75″ wide.
Do not stretch, recolor, rotate, crop, outline, rearrange, add effects to, or place the logo on backgrounds that reduce readability.
Do not adjust the colors of the logo symbol in any way.

Logo Variations

Full-Color Primary Logo on Different backgrounds

The United Way of Southern Nevada logotype is blue unless there is low contrast with the background, in which case it should be in white.
Ensure that there is sufficient contrast for clarity and legibility when used with photography.
The knockout or one-color versions are used on dark backgrounds or photographs where the full-color logo will not provide sufficient contrast.
It can also be used for grayscale or one-color printing.

Co-Branding

In addition to logo usage guidelines above, please ensure all logos are presented clearly, respectfully, and with appropriate spacing.
Co-branded materials should reflect a balanced partnership and should not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or formal affiliation beyond the approved relationship.
Ensure the United Way of Southern Nevada logo is similar in visual weight to partner logos when appropriate.
Materials using the United Way of Southern Nevada logo may require review before publication.

Brand Fonts

Antonio

Antonio is our brand font for headlines. Its all uppercase-style is suitable for bold headlines and large-scale messaging.
This font should only appear in all capital letters when being used a headline.

Palanquin

Palanquin is our brand font for body copy. Its design is optimized for legibility.
This font can be used, in any weight, for body copy and sub-headlines.

Alternate Font

Arial

When the primary and alternative brand fonts are not available, Arial may be used as a default system font.
Arial is available on most operating systems and supported by all major web browsers.
