What inspired you to volunteer?
“It’s all about doing our own little bit”
I strongly believe in the idea of giving back, and the heartfelt experience every time we are able to volunteer is something that keeps inspiring.
While volunteering with NV Energy, I have met a lot of people and organizations on the way, doing great stuff for our community, they in themselves are living inspirations for me and certainly for many others.
How do you celebrate National Volunteer Month?
Spread the word among friends and family, and encourage the idea of giving back.
What does it mean to work for a company like NV Energy that encourages giving back to our community?
I would like to express my heartful gratitude to NV Energy’s Volunteering Team.
I believe volunteering is a culture and NV Energy not only encourages it by its own example but is also sowing the seeds of ‘giving back’ on the way.
It’s my honor to be able to volunteer with NV Energy and the feeling is exponential when this feeling is empowered and supported by an excellent volunteering team making sure the power of giving is on.
