UNITED WAY OF SOUTHREN NEVADA ANNOUNCES DEADLINE EXTENSION, EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER PROGRAM

LAS VEGAS (Mar. 05, 2024) – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) and the Local Board of the Clark County Emergency Food and Shelter Program are proud to announce that Clark County public and private organizations have the opportunity to apply for $1,488,327 in federal funds for Emergency Food and Shelter Programs (EFSP).

With an extended deadline, organizations are now able to apply through March 15 at 5 PM PST.  EFSP funds are federal funds made available through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Organizations interested in applying must view a mandatory applicant webinar to be eligible to apply. The recorded webinar is available at uwsn.org/EFSP and must be viewed no later than Friday, March 15, 2024, at 5 PM PST. Applicants must certify that they have viewed the webinar, which includes application instructions and an application code.
