LAS VEGAS (April XX, 2025) – In a time when community resilience is more important than ever, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is proud to welcome two new leaders to its Board of Directors. Jilian Monet Lopez, AVP of Community Engagement for HCA Healthcare – Far West Division, and Shane Rogers, Managing Director – Nevada at U.S. Bank, bring the experience and dedication needed to help UWSN strengthen and support Southern Nevada through ongoing challenges.
Jilian Lopez is a dynamic leader with over 11 years of experience in community engagement, strategic partnerships, and workforce development. Known for her ability to foster connections and drive positive change, she has coordinated Las Vegas market-level participation in impactful initiatives such as Las Vegas’ Biggest Diaper Drive benefiting Baby’s Bounty, which raised over 70,000 diapers through employee, company, and public donations, and HCA Healthcare’s “mini hospital” storefront at Junior Achievement’s BizTown which promotes healthcare careers, teamwork, child injury prevention, and healthier tomorrows to over 20,000 CCSD students and their families. With a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northwestern University, Jilian brings her education and passion for service to roles that help build stronger, healthier communities.
Shane Rogers brings extensive expertise in wealth management, private banking, and investment services, having held senior leadership roles throughout his career. As Managing Director – Nevada at U.S. Bank, he leads efforts to drive strategic growth across the region. With a strong background in project management, he is skilled at guiding complex initiatives and navigating organizational change. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shane is a committed conservation advocate, currently serving as Chairman of the Nevada Wildlife Commission. His dedication to both his industry and community make him a valuable addition to the UWSN Board.
With their expertise and dedication, Jilian and Shane will play a key role in advancing UWSN’s work to empower local nonprofits and create pathways to opportunity for Southern Nevadans.
