LAS VEGAS (Dec. 2, 2024) — United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is celebrating the season of giving with several impactful initiatives. UWSN has partnered with Steiner’s Pub to host the annual Warmth Drive. The drive will collect new and gently used warmth items including blankets, jackets, coats, gloves, socks and scarves now through Jan. 6. Donated items will help ensure individuals and families stay warm and cozy throughout the winter months.
Donations can be dropped off at United Way of Southern Nevada during office hours, located at 5830 W. Flamingo Road or at various Steiner’s Pub locations:
- Steiner’s Cheyenne: 8410 W Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89129
- Steiner’s Buffalo: 1750 N Buffalo Drive, Suite 115, Las Vegas, NV 89128
- Steiner’s Las Vegas Blvd: 8168 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89123
- All Steiner’s locations are open 24 hours
In addition, UWSN is proud to announce an additional $1.3 million in funding from the Nevada Department of Education has been distributed to UWSN’s Student Success Program Partners. This investment further amplifies the reach and impact of its Community Impact Grant initiatives. Aligned with UWSN’s mission to unite the community to improve people’s lives, the Community Impact Grant Program continues to assist local nonprofits dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential, creating accessible workforce pathways, and promoting household stability.
