UNITED WAY OF SOUTHERN NEVADA KICKS OFF SEASON OF GIVING TO SUPPORT FAMILIES IN NEED

LAS VEGAS – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is embracing the holiday spirit with the launch of its annual Season of Giving campaign, inviting the community to come together to support local families through three meaningful opportunities: giving, volunteering, and donating warm clothing items

“Winter can be a difficult season for families across Southern Nevada,” said Samuel Rudd, President & CEO of UWSN. “Through our Season of Giving, our community can provide warmth, stability, and hope. Every act of generosity, whether a financial gift, volunteer hours, or a donated coat, helps our neighbors in need thrive this holiday season and beyond.”

THREE WAYS TO GIVE BACK THIS HOLIDAY SEASON:

  1. GIVE: Support the UWSN Emergency Assistance & Community Needs Fund
As community funding pauses reduce available services, Southern Nevada families are struggling to keep food on the table, the lights on, and a roof over their heads. Your gift to UWSN’s Emergency Assistance & Community Needs (EACN) Fund provides critical support for food, rent, temporary shelter, and utility assistance for Southern Nevadans experiencing urgent hardship.
