LAS VEGAS (June 24, 2024) – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is excited to announce the launch of the Operation Back to School Drive. From June 24 through August 2, UWSN will be collecting a variety of essential school supplies for students in need.
The following items will be accepted:
- Backpacks
- Crayons
- Markers
- Pencils
- Scissors
- Notebooks
- Folders
“Having essential school supplies can significantly impact a student’s success, and we are proud to provide our partners serving students in our community with these essential supplies,” said Samuel Rudd, UWSN COO and CFO. “This community initiative is dedicated to ensuring students are prepared for the upcoming school year.”
Donations can be dropped off at the United Way of Southern Nevada office located at 5830 W. Flamingo Rd. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
