LAS VEGAS (May 13, 2024) – On Friday, May 10, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) held its highly anticipated annual Golf United Tournament at Bear’s Best Las Vegas. The tournament was a success; more than 100 golfers teed off for a great cause and fundraised to support children, families, and individuals in our community.
“We are grateful to all who came out to participate in the Golf United Tournament to support UWSN,” said Samuel Rudd, UWSN COO and CFO. “All of the funds raised through the tournament will stay here in Southern Nevada to make a difference in the lives of people across the valley.”
Commencing at 8 a.m., participants teed off on a scenic 18-hole course, all while competing for several prizes and a hole-in-one contest. The excitement continued as attendees participated in a live auction to win a foursome to the exclusive Summit Club, a private championship golf course.
The success of the Golf United Tournament was made possible through the generous support of sponsors including Aetna, CenterWell, The Korte Company, Tito’s Vodka, Verizon, The STRAT, HMS Host part of Avolta AG, Valhallan Esports, and Whiting-Turner.
