LAS VEGAS (Sept. 27, 2024) – United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) is proud to announce the 17th Annual Women United Suit Drive. Beginning Tuesday, Oct. 1, donors can drop off gently used business suits, dresses, hospital scrubs, shoes and accessories to various locations across the valley.
This impactful initiative brings together female leaders from across Southern Nevada to empower women returning to the workplace. The items donated will help women in return-to-work programs at local nonprofits prepare for job interviews, enter the workforce and achieve financial stability.
Additionally, those interested can volunteer to sort suits and meet Women United members at the Women United Suit Drive Sip & Sort on Wednesday, November 6 from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. at United Way of Southern Nevada located at 5830 W. Flamingo Rd. Volunteers will enjoy champagne, music and fun as they prepare the collected items and accessories for distribution.
On November 20, guests are invited to attend the Women United Suit Drive Breakfast at Las Vegas Country Club to celebrate the success of the Suit Drive and connect with community leaders, supporters and Woman United members. Tickets start at $65 and can be purchased here.
