Can you share more about your role? How do you support the community through your work?
My role at the UWSN as a Corporate Partnerships Manager is to be a conduit between our corporate and community partners. I’ll be their source of information and help guide them through the fundraising process and advocate how they can help the community in various ways, i.e., volunteering, in-kind donations, and kit builds.
Please share what inspired you to join Team UWSN?
I have always had the “Attitude of Gratitude” for helping others and sharing knowledge that can benefit someone else’s life in an impactful way and there’s no better way or place to do that but in an organization like the United Way of Southern Nevada.
How do you have fun in Las Vegas?
I enjoy checking out new restaurants, going to concerts, and seeing plays and jazz music artists at the Smith Center of Performing Arts.
What is a fun fact about you?
I have the distinction of being the 1st Black female sports broadcaster (electronic media) in the City of Detroit! I’m very proud of the strides and accomplishments women have made in sports media roles over the past 15 year but there’s more to do!
