Let’s give a warm welcome to Joan Sanchilli, Early Childhood Specialist at United Way of Southern Nevada! In her role, Joan supports both the Program Manager and Program Director with the implementation of the Nevada Ready Program. She plays a core part in planning, managing, and delivering high-quality early education programs across Southern Nevada to ensure children receive the strong start they deserve.
Joan is also dedicated to uplifting educators and early education partners. She facilitates coaching and feedback sessions with directors, teachers, and staff to support the use of best practices in early learning environments — helping build stronger classrooms and stronger futures for children and families.
Joan was inspired to join #TeamUWSN by her passion for helping others. Her desire to make a positive impact in the community drives her work every day, giving her the opportunity to connect with families and partners while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, Joan enjoys collecting keychains, watching movies, and hiking. And if you’re new to Las Vegas, she has one must-do recommendation: snapping a photo at the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign — an essential Las Vegas memory!
