Meet Helen Katano, our Early Education Administrator at United Way of Southern Nevada. 

In her role, Helen supports the Early Education team by assisting with essential administrative needs for programs like the Nevada Ready! State Pre-K Program. Her work helps keep operations organized and supports the team’s efforts to provide quality early learning opportunities for children and families across Southern Nevada. 

Helen was inspired to join UWSN because of the organization’s commitment to helping the community in many different ways. She is excited to be part of a team working to create positive impact and support resources that help children and families thrive. 

Outside of work, Helen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and painting. When visiting Las Vegas, she recommends exploring beyond the Strip and checking out Boulder City, Hoover Dam, and the Lake.
