Meet Clarissa Chavez, our Community Impact and Grant Administrator at United Way of Southern Nevada. In her role, Clarissa supports the Community Impact and Grant team with essential administrative needs, helping keep processes aligned so the team can effectively serve the local community through strategic grant opportunities and partnerships. 

Clarissa was inspired to join UWSN because of its strong commitment to supporting the community and creating opportunities for those in need. Her work helps ensure the team can stay focused on investing in programs that strengthen Southern Nevada and expand access to critical resources for individuals and families. 

Outside of work, Clarissa enjoys spending time outdoors running, hiking, and skiing in the winter. When visiting Las Vegas, she recommends heading to Lee Canyon to ski or snowboard and experience the mountains just outside the city.
