Meet Arlene Rivera, our External Affairs Manager for Coalitions + Partnerships at United Way of Southern Nevada.
In this role, Arlene focuses on building meaningful connections between organizations and the communities they serve. Her position was created to help bridge gaps, align shared goals, and strengthen collaboration so resources and services reach the people who need them most across Southern Nevada.
By cultivating strong partnerships, Arlene works to ensure community voices are heard and that collective efforts lead to lasting impact. Her work supports cross-sector collaboration that advances United Way’s mission to unite our community and create pathways to stability and opportunity.
When asked what inspired her to join #TeamUWSN, Arlene shared that she was drawn to United Way’s unwavering mission to unite communities and the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment. She thrives on bringing people together to work toward solutions that benefit everyone.
Outside of work, Arlene enjoys mindfulness practices and researching all things holistic. And if you’re visiting Las Vegas, her must-do recommendation is simple: head to the mountains. From Red Rock Canyon to Mount Charleston, she encourages everyone to explore the natural beauty beyond the Strip.
