Join us in welcoming Adela Moctezuma, our Cristo Rey Student Intern at United Way of Southern Nevada. As part of the Cristo Rey St. Viator Corporate Work Study Program, in her role, Adela works closely with our Volunteer Engagement team, providing hands-on support with projects, errands, and department needs. Her work varies day to day, and she’s always ready to jump in wherever she’s needed. Adela shares that her main goal is to “follow the mission of UWSN and thrive in this environment.”
Adela joined UWSN through her school’s placement process and shares that it was the perfect match. We’re glad to have her on #TeamUWSN and appreciate the positivity and support she brings to the office.
Outside of work, Adela enjoys painting, playing sports, going on hikes, and cooking. For anyone visiting Las Vegas, she recommends exploring Gold Strike Canyon Hot Springs to enjoy the outdoors and unique desert scenery.
