Helping Young Leaders Build Bright Futures
With a family of four and only one income, Jennifer Ashley found that she needed to help provide for her family. COVID-19 had dealt her family a tough blow as Jennifer’s father lost his job, and the family struggled to make ends meet. Jennifer took it on herself to help support her low-income family. Thanks to the support of United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN), Leaders in Training was able to hire Jennifer as a Program Manager. Not only is Jennifer helping to provide for her family; she also serves as a role model and is helping to build the next generation of future leaders.
