Imagine you are a father who recently received full custody of your three children and a newcomer to the Las Vegas Valley. Where would you turn to find resources for your family after experiencing very sudden life changes? The dad in our scenario was referred to Boys Town Nevada for its Care Coordination Services. A funded community partner of United Way of Southern Nevada, this organization’s mission is to ensure that families have the support and skills they need to create and maintain a safe, stable environment for their children. Boys Town Nevada helped our father gain needed guidance to find a permanent home for his family within his budget, as well as navigate how to enroll his children in the Innovations International Charter School of Nevada. He gained a full-time security position with full benefits and continues to be a great advocate for his family. Thanks to support from UWSN and Boys Town, this father received the support he needed to ensure his family could thrive!
