NyE Communities Coalition helps residents across Nye and Esmeralda Counties access nutritious food and essential resources through its Community Response Program, reaching some of Nevada’s most rural communities. The program connects people to food pantries and nutrition resources, coordinates food distribution, offers nutrition education, and provides support from Community Health Workers who help residents access community services.
Through partnerships with food providers and growers like Greenlife Produce, the program also strengthens local food systems, expanding access to fresh produce, protein, and other healthy foods. With these connections, individuals and families build greater food security, stability, and healthier lives.
