Great Basin College helps students and job seekers in rural Nye County connect education and training to meaningful careers through the GBC-Pahrump Career Center. The center offers career guidance and workforce development for first-generation college students, adult learners, veterans, and others working to advance their careers.
Support includes one-on-one career advising, resume and cover letter help, job search assistance, interview preparation, career exploration, and guidance on workforce credentials and career pathways. Through this training and these connections, students and job seekers build long-term financial stability, advance toward their career goals, and strengthen the local workforce.
