LAS VEGAS (April 14, 2025) – On Saturday, April 12, United Way of Southern Nevada (UWSN) welcomed nearly 300 guests at KAOS Nightclub at The Palms for the Women United Fierce & Fearless Fashion Show Luncheon, presented by Light & Wonder. The event recognized the bold female leaders in the community who are breaking barriers and continue to make a lasting impact in Southern Nevada.

Women United is a powerful group within United Way of Southern Nevada, dedicated to uplifting and empowering our community. With a legacy spanning 18 years, Women United has invested over $3.5 million and contributed 8,200 volunteer hours to support vital programs that address the challenges faced by women and families in Southern Nevada. Women United is about more than giving—it’s about driving progress, uplifting one another, creating lasting change, and strengthening the community.
The event kicked off with an empowering fashion show, showcasing exclusive designs from Anne Fontaine, René Tyler, and innovative balloon dress creations from Vegas Balloon. The runway featured bold, one-of-a-kind looks that embodied the spirit of the women who are fearlessly making a difference in the community. Adding to the inspiration, talented Las Vegas Academy singers performed empowering songs, setting the tone for the day.
Attendees then enjoyed an unforgettable luncheon, featuring a keynote address from Nada Lena Nasserdeen, founder of Rise Up For You and No. 1 bestselling author, whose inspiring words uplifted the crowd. The event also featured a Sip N Shop, where guests had the opportunity to support local women-owned businesses, celebrating and empowering female entrepreneurs in Southern Nevada.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit UWSN’s mission, fueling programs that help individuals and families across Southern Nevada thrive.
