Help Create a Better Community for all through our Giving Groups!
United Way of Southern Nevada’s giving groups provide a means for passionate, determined and action-oriented leaders in Southern Nevada to use their collective strength and financial power to make a difference. Although diverse, our groups are genuinely united, one for all.
Women United
For 17 years, UWSN’s Women United has invested $3.5 million and committed over 8,200 volunteer hours to empower the next generation of women leaders and reimagine the future of Southern Nevada. In addition, Women United members give $1,000 or more annually to support our Southern Nevada community. Last year, UWSN’s Women United was proud to fund programs focusing on issues impacting women and their families in Southern Nevada.
The mission of UWSN’s Women United is to empower Southern Nevada women as leaders, supporting their education, career advancement, financial stability, health, and well-being. Join us to lead the charge and inspire the change!
Young Leaders Society
UWSN’s Young Leader’s Society (YLS) is a network of young professionals (ages 21-40) who share a passion for advancing community solutions in Southern Nevada. Through networking events, volunteer opportunities, and innovative trainings, members leverage the power of UWSN to give, advocate, and volunteer for our community.
YLS members give $250 or more annually to support our Southern Nevada community. Through YLS, members expand their professional networks, enhance their philanthropic leadership skills by building connections in the community, and give back by volunteering at UWSN events and with UWSN’s nonprofit partner agencies.
Tocqueville Society
Tocqueville Society members are philanthropists who demonstrate extraordinary generosity to our community by investing $10,000 or more annually. These individuals and couples make an outstanding commitment to improving the quality of life in our community.
Members are recognized for their dedication and for inspiring others to become philanthropic leaders in our community. In a time when the need is so great, the leaders among us rise with a renewed willingness to tackle the most significant challenges—they are United Way’s Tocqueville Society members, the cornerstone of United Way.
