Ensuring Access and Resources for All
United Way of Southern Nevada's language access program
UWSN’s Language Access Program supported nonprofits in making essential services more accessible to individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP).
The program equipped organizations to share resources in Southern Nevada’s nine most common non-English languages:
- ASL
- Amharic
- Arabic
- Chinese
- Farsi/Dari
- Filipino
- Korean
- Spanish
- Vietnamese
Through training and workshops, participating nonprofits strengthened their ability to serve diverse communities and expand access across the region.
