Born and raised in Las Vegas, Mercedes is deeply rooted in the community she now serves through her role at UWSN. As Manager of Corporate Partnerships, she’s responsible for cultivating and sustaining meaningful relationships with corporate partners—engaging leadership, driving fundraising efforts, and providing strategic guidance to ensure year-round impact.
Mercedes was inspired to join the nonprofit sector by a personal commitment to give back to the community she’s been part of her entire life. Her work helps fund programs that support some of Southern Nevada’s most vulnerable populations.
When she’s off the clock, Mercedes enjoys reading, biking, and spending time with her family. She’s also a proud volleyball mom! Her local recommendation? Have dinner at Esther’s Kitchen and catch a musical at The Smith Center—or, for visitors, don’t miss the Bellagio Conservatory and Fountain Show.
