Goodwill of Southern Nevada helps people build the skills, credentials, and connections they need for sustainable careers through its Opportunity Accelerator program. The program supports people facing barriers to employment, including people with low incomes, single parents, veterans, people with disabilities, and people re-entering the workforce.
Participants receive career assessments, individualized employment plans, credential training in in-demand industries, career coaching, job readiness workshops, and connections to employers. They also get support like transportation assistance and professional interview attire to help them get and keep a job. With these tools, people strengthen their earning potential, build financial stability, and help grow a stronger Southern Nevada workforce.
