Volunteer of the Month Spotlight | Autumn Sanchez

United Way of Southern Nevada is proud to recognize Autumn Sanchez as our April Volunteer of the Month, powered by NV Energy.

For Autumn, volunteering is rooted in the belief that small actions can create meaningful change. “Even a small effort on my part can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life,” she shared.

Through her volunteer experiences, Autumn has built strong connections and developed skills that carry over into her personal life. From forming lasting friendships to gaining new perspectives, her journey shows how giving back can shape both individuals and the community.

Working for a company like NV Energy has also strengthened her ability to serve. With a culture that encourages community involvement, Autumn has taken advantage of opportunities to give back in intentional, impactful ways. “A company that encourages giving back to our community is one I can be proud to work for—one that truly cares about the people it serves,” she said.

For Autumn, giving back to Southern Nevada is deeply personal. It’s a way to pay forward the opportunities she experienced growing up and to help ensure others have access to the same support.

United Way of Southern Nevada celebrates volunteers like Autumn, whose dedication continues to make a lasting impact across our community.
