Diane was a young mother experiencing homelessness who needed to find a new home for her family. Thankfully, Diane was able to participate in HopeLink of Southern Nevada’s Rapid Rehousing Program, which helps families find a safe place to call home and rebuild their lives towards self-sufficiency. The program helped her re-establish her home and get her family settled. Determined to create long-term stability for her family, Diane enrolled in Hope Link of Southern Nevada’s CareerLink program. With the support of United Way of Southern Nevada, CareerLink helps local moms like Diane develop the skills needed to enter the job market and find a good job. To support Diane on her job search, HopeLink located a resource to care for her child which gave Diane more time to look and apply for new career options. After many interviews and multiple offers, Diane accepted a position at a local casino. Diane is flourishing in her role with the casino while also sharing her shining personality with guests and fellow employees alike.
