Like most of her fellow high school seniors, Da’Niah went into her senior year determined to figure out what she wanted to do next. She knew she wanted to go to college but didn’t know where to start when it came to filling out applications and obtaining scholarships. Thanks to the support of United Way of Southern Nevada and our partner program, Jobs for Nevada’s Graduates, Da’Niah received mentorship from her program specialist and assistance with applying to colleges and obtaining scholarships. Da’Niah has now been accepted to over 20 colleges and universities and has received over $100,000 in scholarships! UWSN is proud to empower students like Da’Niah to follow their dreams and help achieve their goals of going to college on a full-ride scholarship.
