65th Anniversary Team UWSN Spotlight | Megan Cortney

Join us for another #TeamUWSNTuesday! Meet Megan Cortney, she’s the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation Community Impact. She works directly with our funded nonprofit partners by supporting their programs, helping them track their outputs, and the impact they are making in our community. These numbers are vital to share with our board, community partners, key stakeholders, and the community at large!

Megan’s favorite memories working at UWSN are when working out in the community. A recent event she enjoyed was helping at Vassiliadis Elementary School with the UWSN team helping clean up and mulch their garden! And later that month she got to attend a farmer’s market in Downtown Summerlin to help the students succeed in selling their veggies and crafts!

We’ve been doing this since 1957 – before Elvis had his hit, Viva Las Vegas.
