Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Lauren Allen, our new Corporate Giving Specialist, who has recently joined Team UWSN. In her role, Lauren cultivates meaningful donor relationships and supports our Fundraising team. When thinking back about her favorite memorable experience while at UWSN thus far she says, “A core memory I have while working at UWSN is attending our partner Green Our Planet’s Fall Giant Student Farmers Market where students from the elementary-high school level sell produce and hand-made crafts to the public. It was a very significant experience to see how United Way plays a role in giving these students the opportunity to learn about how to grow crops through sustainable solutions and encouraging entrepreneurship at a young age.”
When asked about what everyone must do when they Visit Las Vegas she shared, “everyone must take a scenic drive through the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Its natural beauty and unbeatable views are such a unique experience that we can all enjoy!” Lastly, we asked her about a favorite moment from Las Vegas history, and she said, “Since I recently moved to Las Vegas, I am still learning the history behind it all. However, I see a lot of potential in our near future with exciting events such as the Super Bowl, F1, concerts in the Sphere, and much more. As the city expands, so do the different businesses and industries establishing themselves here. There is a bright future ahead with the enticing engagement and rapid expansion of Las Vegas!”
