Welcome back to our 65th #TeamUWSNTuesday series. For this Tuesday, we would like to introduce our new Volunteer Engagement and Events Manager, Jordan Canal. Jordan will be helping connect community volunteers to our local nonprofit organizations’ projects and assist with UWSN’s events throughout the year!
Jordan has recently moved to Las Vegas, from Texas. Jordan’s journey with UWSN began when she volunteered at our 7th Annual Day of Caring this year and saw first-hand the impact that UWSN’s volunteer program has on our Southern Nevada community! . Jordan is looking forward to growing UWSN’s volunteerism programs and uniting even more volunteers to support UWSN’s community partners! What is your favorite memory of working at UWSN?
“I only just started, but I will never forget how warm and welcoming our Director of Volunteer Engagement and Events, Savanna, and the rest of the UWSN team have been!” Jordan said.
What is your favorite tagline from UWSN’s 65th Anniversary?
We’ve been doing this since 1957…. before the Beatles came to Las Vegas (1964).
What is one thing everyone must do when they visit Las Vegas?
I believe everyone should go hiking at Red Rock!
