What is one thing everyone must do when they visit Las Vegas?
Being a Las Vegas native and my love of the outdoors, I enjoy seeing the Valley through the eyes of my young daughter. We love exploring Lake Mead, Mount Charleston, Boulder City and Red Rock to create fun memories outside of the lights of the Las Vegas Strip.
What is your favorite moment from Las Vegas History?
One of my favorite moments in Las Vegas History was when my grandfather, Manny Guerra was inducted into the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame after more than 55 years of serving as a baseball coach and scout in Las Vegas. He was one of the true pioneers in the growth of youth baseball in the city.
What moment in Las Vegas History has UWSN been supporting the community since?
We’ve been doing this since 1957, the same year that UNLV held its first classes.
