United Way of Southern Nevada provides learning opportunities for children and students from Pre-K through higher education.
Our Goal
Our goal is to increase the number of students proficient in reading, graduating from high school, and pursuing paths leading to college and career.
What We Do
Before school even starts, we provide programs and support to parents to become their child’s first teacher with in-home training and lessons to prepare children for school. We support the provision of pre-kindergarten scholarships to help children develop a strong foundation that will prepare them for the classroom.
Additionally, we provide elementary, middle, and high school students with access to tutoring services, homework help, and after school enrichment programs. We strive to support students with leadership, scholarship, and mentorship programs that inspire and motivate them to build successful lives.
