Thanks to all of our Corporate Partners!

and many more!

Running a United Way “Campaign” is a traditional way thousands of companies partner with us to support their communities. Providing employees with meaningful opportunities to give back to the community at the level they feel comfortable is a benefit for any corporate culture. A well-developed partnership with United Way provides employees with these and many other opportunities:

  • Community Involvement — opportunities to give back and improve lives
  • Convenience and affordability in giving options such as payroll deduction and electronic pledging
  • United Way’s knowledge of the community ensures investments are channeled to where the needs are greatest
  • Strategic giving — opportunities for direct investments by area of interest such as healthcare, education or financial stability
  • Professional and service-oriented volunteer roles with partner agencies
  • Publications, eUpdates and educational forums to stay informed of pressing social issues

If you are interested in running a United Way campaign, please contact the Resource Development office, at 892-2333.

Campaign Spotlight | William Hill

Lindsay-Meyers--William-Hill-Web-2William Hill is one of the world’s largest betting and gaming companies with 17,000 employees working together as one team worldwide and locally in Nevada. Based on the philosophy that customers are the heart of everything the company does, William Hill invests in the communities in which they do business.

“Our colleagues are passionate about supporting charities that are close to home and close to their hearts,” said Lindsay Meyers, William Hill US, Director of Human Resources. “United Way has been instrumental in connecting William Hill to community partners through both financial giving options and volunteering opportunities.”

William Hill’s local community support includes holding a corporate book drive supporting United Way’s Flip Through Summer event, sending volunteer teams to community events, supporting United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council and conducting a United Way employee workplace campaign.

William Hill employees were actively involved in the United Way workplace campaign to help raise money to create a brighter future for southern Nevada. William Hill employees also saw the impact of United Way’s work as many benefitted from United Way’s free tax preparation, which helps local families get back all of the money that belongs to them.

“William Hill is proud to work with the United Way which supports so many people in need in our community,” said Joe Asher, William Hill US CEO.
