Thanks to all of our Corporate Partners!

and many more!

Running a United Way “Campaign” is a traditional way thousands of companies partner with us to support their communities. Providing employees with meaningful opportunities to give back to the community at the level they feel comfortable is a benefit for any corporate culture. A well-developed partnership with United Way provides employees with these and many other opportunities:

  • Community Involvement — opportunities to give back and improve lives
  • Convenience and affordability in giving options such as payroll deduction and electronic pledging
  • United Way’s knowledge of the community ensures investments are channeled to where the needs are greatest
  • Strategic giving — opportunities for direct investments by area of interest such as healthcare, education or financial stability
  • Professional and service-oriented volunteer roles with partner agencies
  • Publications, eUpdates and educational forums to stay informed of pressing social issues

If you are interested in running a United Way campaign, please contact the Resource Development office, at 892-2333.

On the Campaign Trail | April 2015

Boyd-2Hello from the Campaign Trail. With temperatures in the 90’s, the trail is feeling a bit like summer!

In the last quarter of our fiscal year, Boyd Gaming spiced it up with its first Chili Cook Off benefiting United Way. With 50 participants, 20 different chili samples and $500 raised for United Way, this event was a hot success!

We are also working closely with our partners like Clark County School District, Caesars Entertainment, HCA Hospitals, Aliante Casino, Southern Wine and Spirits, Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce and Diamond Resorts just to mention a few. These partners are in the midst of some creative planning to engage employees and tailoring their campaigns to align well with their own corporate cultures.
